Arkiden Suite — product scene
PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Arkiden Suite

One client.
One connected suite.

Workdesk, Books and Tax. Manage the practice, keep the books and complete the filing journey.

Product scope

What is Arkiden Suite?

Workdesk, Books and Tax connected around one client: organise the practice, complete the bookkeeping, then prepare and file from reviewed figures.

The challenge

Practice management, bookkeeping and tax work become disconnected when client details, figures and approvals move between separate systems.

The approach

Workdesk manages clients and work. Books organises live bank feeds, reconciliation and reporting. Tax continues the workflow through accounts, tax and payroll submissions.

The right forms for the work

A connected library of Workdesk engagement and onboarding forms, Books financial documents, and Tax approval, payroll and supported filing documents, using shared client details.

Generated from your approved templates, pre-filled from the record, sent for completion or signature, and stored with the work they belong to.

What runs automatically

  • Create the client once and reuse approved details across the connected Workdesk, Books and Tax records.
  • An accepted service starts onboarding, recurring jobs, bookkeeping periods and the relevant filing timetable.
  • Reviewed bookkeeping figures prepare tax work; missing evidence and approval requests return to the same client and practice workflow.
  • Completed filings update the job, retain the receipt and prepare the next cycle, with combined exception and progress reporting.
How you stay in control

Each handover retains the approved version. Material changes reopen the relevant review rather than silently changing previously approved figures.

Choose the triggers, rules and approval points. Track actions, pause workflows and resolve exceptions without losing the history. Forms and automated steps are configured for your organisation, sector and location.

The complete scope

What Arkiden Suite covers.

Explore the modules and workflows in the full product specification. This includes planned capabilities; current release availability and supported connections are confirmed with you before an order.

01

One client foundation

  • Reuse core client details across Workdesk, Books and Tax.
  • Link companies, individuals, contacts and their responsibilities.
  • Keep separate access boundaries for each business and practice team.
02

Workdesk included

  • Manage enquiries, onboarding, client requests and recurring jobs.
  • Plan deadlines, team responsibilities, fees and client approvals.
  • Keep delivery context alongside the client relationship.
03

Books included

  • Bring in live bank feeds and source documents.
  • Reconcile activity, review the ledger and prepare financial reports.
  • Lock reviewed periods with an evidence-backed audit trail.
04

Tax included

  • Prepare supported UK accounts, tax and payroll filings.
  • Connect calculations to checks, approval and submission records.
  • Retain acknowledgements, errors and corrections against the client and period.
05

Controlled handovers

  • Pass a named, versioned period from Books to Tax.
  • Show changes made after a handover and require them to be reviewed.
  • Return filing status and outstanding questions to the Workdesk job.
06

Shared client experience

  • Present relevant requests, files and approvals through a consistent portal.
  • Separate client-visible information from internal working notes.
  • Show the next action and owner rather than several disconnected inboxes.
07

Practice reporting

  • Review capacity, bookkeeping progress and filing work together.
  • Filter exceptions by client, period, deadline and assigned team.
  • Follow a headline status back to the job, transaction or submission behind it.
08

Availability & rollout

  • The Suite is not yet available to buy. Register interest and we will contact you when it launches.
  • Plan data imports, permissions, training and any bespoke connections before rollout.
09

Automatic forms & document generation

  • Generate the required document pack for the agreed workflow from configurable, business-approved templates: a connected library of Workdesk engagement and onboarding forms, Books financial documents, and Tax approval, payroll and supported filing documents, using shared client details.
  • Pre-fill known information, use conditional questions, request missing details and create branded documents without retyping records.
  • Collect signatures or acknowledgements where appropriate, issue reminders and keep the exact signed version with its related record, permissions and retention settings.
  • Let your team add or adapt templates as requirements change, with review and version control before a revised form is issued.
10

Connected workflow automation

  • Create the client once and reuse approved details across the connected Workdesk, Books and Tax records.
  • An accepted service starts onboarding, recurring jobs, bookkeeping periods and the relevant filing timetable.
  • Reviewed bookkeeping figures prepare tax work; missing evidence and approval requests return to the same client and practice workflow.
  • Completed filings update the job, retain the receipt and prepare the next cycle, with combined exception and progress reporting.
11

Automation controls & review

  • Configure triggers, conditions, schedules, owners and approval steps; test the workflow before enabling it.
  • See every automated action, its source and outcome. Failed jobs, missing information and uncertain suggestions enter a visible exception queue with a responsible owner.
  • Pause or override a workflow with a reason; retry safely without creating duplicate records, repeated messages or duplicate charges.
  • Each handover retains the approved version. Material changes reopen the relevant review rather than silently changing previously approved figures.

In practice

Where it makes a difference.

Example workflows showing how the product is intended to support everyday work.

Onboard in Workdesk, reconcile in Books and complete the supported filing in Tax.

02

Review correction

Trace an amended ledger figure into the affected accounts and approval workflow.

03

Growing practice

Bring clients onto a consistent operating process while keeping their records and permissions separate.

What we are building towards

  • Connected records with explicit review boundaries.
  • Client communication stays attached to the work it supports.

Connections, coverage and rollout

The Suite covers Workdesk, Books and Tax. Cadrav’s wider HR and recruitment workspace is separate; it is not a compulsory extra for the payroll filing scope described in Tax.
